Configuration.php Editor

Description

The Configuration.php Editor plugin adds a quick-access icon to the main Joomla administrator dashboard for editing the configuration.php file in a modal window using the CodeMirror editor.

Features:

• editing the configuration.php file in a modal window directly from the main Joomla administrator dashboard,
• using the CodeMirror editor for syntax highlighting,
• saving versions of the configuration.php file with the ability to quickly restore them,
• saving changes via Ajax without reloading the page,
• checking PHP syntax before writing the file,
• protection against overwriting the file if it has been modified after the editor was opened,
• restricting editing access to users with Super User permissions only.
